Canon EOS 6D in stock (early)

The new full frame Canon EOS 6D is today showing in stock at some sellers, a little earlier than expected – for example see wex photographic here. You can find our Canon EOS 6D Body price comparison listings here, and the Canon EOS 6D with 24-105mm Lens listings here.

Normally, if you want a good deal on the price then you would wait a couple of months, when the first significant price drops seem to kick in after the inintial rush. For example, see the price history for the Canon 650D body:

This is a pretty typical example of how the prices fall after the initial rush of purchases when a camera is released. However, with a release date so close to Christmas, you may not have the choice of waiting if it is going to be a present for someone (someone very lucky!). And if you wait too long, then you may find problems sourcing anyone with it left in stock. So my normal advice of wait a couple of months may be a bit irrelevant in the circumstances.
