Nikon have (recently) announced an upgrade to the Nikon 1 V1, appropriately called the Nikon 1 V2.
The new version is the “first camera in the family to be equipped with second-generation Nikon 1 technology”. The new image processor allows you to shoot at a remarkable 15 frames per second, for for up to 45 frames. You can also shoot at a staggering 60 frames per second with fixed-point AF – and we are talking about full size stills here.
The other stand out new feature is a built in flash, and you also get an increased 14.2-megapixel resolution. For more details see the Nikon Press Release here.
