I managed to get an excellent quality used version of this lens from MPB via this site and it is a superb lens, so light that it can easily be hand-held if required, and capable of excellent image quality even at f/4, its sharpness is very good and the colours have real depth. It obtains focus very quickly and I have got some good shots of birds in flight with it. In some situations the bokeh is perhaps not as good as a non-phase Fresnel PF) lens, but for the price and weight gains it gives one can hardly complain. Even when used with a 1.4x teleconverter there is no obvious drop in quality, though the widest aperture then becomes f/5.6 of course so higher ISO levels may have to be used.
