To add some balance to these reviews, I had a good experience with Pixmania. Ordered my DSLR on a Monday and it was with me on Thursday after I had faxed them some information. I had to ring up to confirm something and they spoke good English. I knew the manual would be in French but downloaded a PDF from Canons website and the continental plug was no issue as I simply plugged in lead with a UK plug. I kept the continental lead as its useful for holidays! Only issue was that they would only ship to the cardholders address rather then an alternative (such as your work address) but then a lot of UK websites also have that policy...

Avoid like the plague, unless you want a manual you cant read if you dont speak French, and a charger that doesnt work in the UK. Thankfully ive never had to return anything, judging from the horror stories from others..

I really cant say anything positive about this shop/warehouse or whatever it is. First they took my money and then finally sent me the product which was broken. After probably 20 e-mails telling me to check out the link in the mail which would take me to the refunds section of their site I almost gave up, why? Because that page does not even exist and they would not do anything about a refund unless I found this mystry page!

Anyway, after months of hassle I finally got a refund, with no sorry and they even refused to pay my shipping fee which I had to pay to get the product to me and to send it back to them.

This has to be the worst camera dealer I have used by far. I will never use them again, in fact I would rather give up photography than use these again. Stay away if you want a hassle free transaction, thats my advice!

Ordered Sigma Lens. Lost in Post, took over 90 days to get paid back. 30 Days was investigation with the post office. The other 60 were filled with e-mails and telephone calls to UK call center that had no authority due to head office being in France.

The words "organise " + "in a brewery" spring to mind, the service was slow and very disorganised,I am now happy to pay the odd pound or two more, and get decent service, use pixmania at your peril !

I ordered a Panasonic digital compact camera. after a few days I was sent an email stating the camera had been dispatched--then 1 minute later they sent another saying it had not been dispatched due to an incident! It finally arived about 10 days later but with no English manual or CD. I have sent many emails to them but they do not reply. KEEP AWAY.
