Morris Photographic Shop Reviews

I saw that Morris were the cheapest for a Billingham 335 bag and contacted them to see if a black one was in stock. Although out of stock, I ordered one anyway - ordered on Monday, delivered on Wednesday! Superb service and delighted with the bag - it holds everything - body, 300mm f2.8, 70-200 f4, 11-16mm f2.8 plus filters, cables, crisps and chocolate. Whats not to like?

Plus, sent off the voucher to Billingham for free accessories on Thursday and they arrived on Saturday. Now thats what I call customer service.

After previously giving Morris Photographic glowing reviews, my last experience was not so good. I ordered 2 items and my credit card was immediately debited. Only one of the items was in stock, so I requested a refund for the non-stock item, which was agreed. After 2 emails, (unanswered) I telephoned and was told my card had been credited. After a number of days no credit was received. So another phone call was made and the matter was finally put right.

When will the guilty photographic retailers stop the despicable practice of debiting credit cards, even though the goods are not in stock? I hear them say, “it’s the way our system works”, or “it makes things quicker”…. Rubbish, get a new system and treat customers with a little more respect. Show genuine stock levels online so the customer can choose to wait, or not, and don’t debit their card until the item is ready for despatch.

Purchased a Giotto tripod. Fast, hassel free service, (as always). Highly recommended retailer.

Ordered a boxed set of filters, but not in stock. The problem was sloved by supplying individual items. Excellent communication and service, highly recommended.

Courteous and efficient staff. Items well packaged and delivered very quickly. Excellent value for money.

Ordered a camera bag over the weekend, they were about the cheapest i could find (who had a good rep) and it was delivered first thing monday morning.

Wouldnt hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Purchased Manfrotto 190x pro b tripod with 804RC2 head,ordered over phone, the sales girl was very helpfull& was an absolute pleasure to talk to, the item arrived well packaged next day with postage included in price, which I found to be best on nett.
With the £20.00 cash back offer, which came in less than a week I consider this very good value

Ordered a Kata camera bag and it was here the following day
their prices are very competetive & I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them + Free P+P if you spend over £65

Cant fault these guys at all. I did an internet search for the cheapest Manfrotto tripod gear and they came out tops. They do exactly what they say. Good prices and my gear came the next day. Postage was free as the order was over £65.

Great price and service, Im about to order a tripod head after buying a well packaged and delivered Manfrotto tripod from them. Website is a bit old fashioned but easy to to find what youre looking for.

Morris called me to let me know that there was a delay on the tripod till stock came in and gave me the choice of having my other item delivered seperately,

great communications and excellent service.

I didnt even suspect there were some good shops like Amazon (the best for customer service and returns, Amazon pays for your postal expenses).
Anyway I discovered that MorrisPhoto gives you free delivery if you spend more than £65, I just added a filter to my purchase of a lowepro slingshot200 and I got a free delivery and best price for 2 items, next day!

I cant fault this company...
I ordered a Manfrotto tripod and head at 13:30 and it arrived the next day at 11:00.
I will definitely be using them again.
