The Canon EOS 6D is the smallest full frame digital SLR in the Canon range, and has a much lower price than the full frame EOS 5D mark III. The Canon 6D has a 20 megapixel full frame sensor and built in GPS and wifi – the wifi not only allowing file transfers, but also remote control of the camera via an app. ISO goes up to 25,600 and is expandable to ISO102,400. Frame rate is 4.5 frames per second and of course you get full HD video. There is no built in flash on the EOS 6D.

Very nice camera, although perhaps a touch overpriced, especially if you are not going to make use of the wi-fi feature. Like many Canon SLRs the general look of the camera looks rather like the model below, or the model above, so initial impressions can be a bit underwhelming. However, the camera is more about functionality than looks. JPEGs are exceptional quality at high ISOs, although some people may find them a little over processed. For many people this represents most of the functionality of the 5D at less than half the price.

Bought it 3 month ago. Stepping up from a 500d. Im extremely happy with it. Image quality is brilliant. And for landscape and portrait and street photographie,Main intresst, I dont need an AF system like in the 5d III. Mainly using center point and recompose anyway (used from 500d). Only minus for me is, that you are forced to original batteries. ( tried two 3rd party and both did not work properly).
