This is one of my favourite shops. They are always helpful and considerate when you go into the shop. When I have bought on line everything has been excellent and well packaged.
Along with Wexford and SRSmicrosystems these are boys you can ALWAYS rely on.
There is one reviewer here who clearly has a vendetta and keeps posting a bad review. In my view reviews should only be allowed once as otherwise 1 person can distort the view others have of the vendor

I recently purchased a sony LA-EA4 lens adapter. No problems whatsoever. very keenly priced, well packaged and delivered on time. From my experience I would have no hesitation in purchasing from them again in the future

Hi Neevio
I feel other should now the problems experienced by those that purchase from website. To many buyers dont report problems and therefore assume they wont have problems with suppliers.
I have got over it and Devon wont get orders from me again and I hope my problems will make other think twice about ordering from them.
I admitted that I missed the small print and it was partly my fault but Ive found that good suppliers always take that sort of thing into consideration to ensure and encourage future purchases.
If it makes me look an idiot so what, at least other potential buyers are not going to make idiots of themsleve.
As for continued commenting on suppliers Im sorry but I feel I must ensure others dont suffer because of continued failures of suppliers.

Devon Cameras have realy lost the plot.
They should get some sort of professionalism in place and stop sort out the Customer Services side on the company.
Until they get that sorted its down hill all the way.
Childish nit picking well after the event is not going to win Customers back.

We dont try to find any excuses.
You might have had a bad experience with our Online Service.
It is always easy to post things in Forum about a bad experience. We are all Customers and we can understand your view.
However, in our initial e-mail the situation was clear and you even admitted that you didnt read the message completely which didnt help in this particular situation.
"My original query was about the delivery address. I didnt spot the delay at the bottom of your email - my fault for not reading it through fully."

Well....no one is hiding here at all.
Stock comes and goes.
Trying to satisfy all customers is hard and even harder.
Remember that retailers have to work with suppliers and it can happen that the initial info received from them is inaccurate.
We aim to do our best to convey the correct information regarding stock and also updating our news page of any changes.
Internet is a jungle with all kind of experience.
When a customer decides to cancel an order for any reasons, it is done and a credit is requested = a refund to the card used for payment.
This refund is active on the customers card rapidly. All depends on his/her bank. An email is sent to the customer in order to inform of the credit.
E-business is not only about prices but customer service too and communication. We dont like to leave our customers in the dark....it doesnt cost anything to inform of the progress of an order by mail (stock delayed...etc.
Hope that helps to clarify some queries.

My original query was about the delivery address. I didnt spot the delay at the bottom of your email - my fault for not reading it through fully. However with the initial nightmare of getting in touch with you about my delivery address I do feel this may be my last order from you.
Now I know there is an issue with the delivery date - please let me know when Im going to get my order.

-no order tracking
-online stock system incorrect
-after5 days still not informed they didnt have "in stock" item in stock, despite it not going to be available for another 2 months

Once again Devon Camera have done me proud. After being let down by another retailer, I ordered a Canon 400D on Monday night (after closing time) and it arrived this morning (Wednesday) before I left for work.
Absolutely outstanding service. I will continue to use them and recommend them to my friends.

I have bought 3 lenses from Devon Camera over the space of a couple of years and Ive been very impressed - they have always delivered on their promises.
I now tend to use them even when theyre not the absolute cheapest, after a few bad experiences with other vendors.

I bought a lens hood and filter from Devon Camera about 9 months ago.
I received the item on time, well packaged and in perfect condition. Email communications before shipping were excellent.
It wasnt necessary for me to speak to anyone personally for this order so I cannot comment on that aspect of their service.
I was very happy with the service and the goods and I would not hesitate to use Devon Camera again.
