Superb lens a real essential for any Nikon FX body. Physically large with bulbous front element but results are simply amazing - far exceeding any Fixed focal length 14mm lens sharp right to the corners at all apertures. Only drawback is inability to use filters though wider than 24mm a polariser is of limited use anyway. Lee filters now offering (expensive) solution if filters are a must. If you dont need wider than 16mm the Nikon 16-35mmf4G VR adds vibration reduction but loses a stop and takes filters.
