A now indispensable accessory for me. No matter how careful you are, and no matter how stable your tripod is, I reckon that its almost impossible to get a 100% shake-free shot in low light unless you use a remote release such as this. A really useful feature is the ability to lock the shutter release, allowing you to let go of the switch completely during an exposure.

Remote switch with an 80cm cord to prevent camera shake for telephoto shots, macrophotography, and bulb exposures. The Remote Switch works just like a shutter button, enabling halfway or complete pressing. It also has a shutter- release lock.
